I think all of my friends and definitely family know my amazing aunt DelLene. Today is one year mark since she has passed away. I just wanted everyone to know how much I love her and that I still think about her so often. For those of you that know the story I still think of her "Sheep" comment and burst out laughing. I also think of the day Brooklyn was born and think of how blessed I was that she was there. Don, Ryan, and Nicole are having a gathering tonight to honor Delene and again celebrate her life. I want to let them know that I wish I could have been there. But I am thinking of her here and am still grateful for her influence in my life. I have visited DelLene in Ogden for the last 3 years in the Fall and I wish I could be there with you all now. We love you guys and are thinking of her tonight as well.

She was definitley an amzing aunt sister mom wife and friend, it doesn't seem like it has been a year since she has been gone cuz she is still so alive to all who knew her. your post was so thoughtful jaimee i love you so much and wish all of us could spend time with DelLene again... someday we will!!
Jaimee that made me teary. . just knowing your love for her and remembering how much she adored you and the cookie. What an incredible force of love she was. I am so glad she touched your life and helped you become the Jaimee I love and adore.
I couldn't have said it any better. It has been a long year since she passed away, but it also seems like just yesterday that she was around making jokes and organizing things and loving our kids! We spent several holidays with she and Don while we were in pharmacy school, and now whenever I think of how I should do a holiday dinner, etc, I think how would DelLene do it? She was a great Aunt and we all miss her a ton!
