That's a REALLY good goal. Maybe I'll have to try it out too. Ok, starting tomorrow I'm going to try it out. I've already ruined it for today (ummmmm, 1/2 dozen Krispy Kreme doughnuts will do that to ya - I know - I need help! The holidays RUINED me!!
Go for it, Jaimee! Personally, I know I could not last even a week. I try to cut back the AMOUNT of sweets I eat, but to go without entirely would kill me. I am literally an addict...so maybe I will try to go for a whole day while you try to go for a whole month. (But I won't start tomorrow because I bought the stuff to make a banana cream pie, and I can't bear to let it go to waste!) Good luck for the next 25 days!!!
I did this last year. I ate so much candy and sweets during Halloween that it made me sick and I felt so gross so I made a goal to myself that I wouldn't eat anymore sweets until Thanksgiving (so however many days that was between October 31st and November 22nd). But I did it and at the dinner table during Thanksgiving when I was handed a peice of pumpkin pie, I couldn't eat it at first. I felt like I would be sinning if I ate it. But I did and it wasn't as rewarding as I thought it would be. Your body will get used to the fact that it doesn't crave sweets anymore and you won't care to eat them. But I must say that I only lost about 5 pounds. If you mix exercise in with it, I'm sure you'll get better results. I didn't exercise very much during that time. But I'm sure you will find this worth it! Good luck!!!
I'm to wimpy to do that. If you can do it, you're my hero!
