Although Brooklyn is getting a little more of an attitude this stage is quickly becoming my favorite. She is becoming so smart and quick witted. When I read books I get very wrapped up in them so I try to encourage Brooklyn to read so she doesn't watch to much TV. I told her the other day for her to read a book then she could watch Mickey Mouse. She ran into the other room grabbed a ABC site book and turned the page to "T" and said "Tiger" then to the "Z" and said "Zebra" then said, "The End! I wanna watch Mickey Mouse." How do you argue with that. Mickey mouse it was.
While my brother was visiting Brooklyn was tattle taling on her cousin Jake to Brandon and as I told her to stop tattling and to be nice she turned to me and said, "Mom. SHHHHHHH! I da talking right now. Brandon adah Jake adah hitting me" Yes it takes everything I have not to laugh and she does get in trouble, goes to time out, the whole deal. But although I don't let her know it I really think her little attitude just adds to her adorable personality. I like that she is a little feisty whether that is right or wrong I don't know! But I know I will need to keep it in check.
It makes me so sad that she is getting so big. I enjoy this age every moment but it is not slowing the time down as she grows. If anybody has any idea of how to make this last forever please fill me in on the secret!
