New year fun!

Just so everyone knows I am still going strong on my new years resolution for no sweets for 30 days. GO ME! I really quick just wanted to catch everyone up since the new year. We have had such a great start to this year. So here are some pictures of some of the fun things we have done so far this year.

We had a great hike with Grandma and Grandpa Smith, and with Jill and Jared's awesome family. Brooklyn had an absolute blast picking up and collecting sticks and rocks the whole way. We probably hiked about 1/2 mile while everyone else hiked over 2 miles. She had an absolute amazing time though. Grandma spoiled her with love the whole time.





Finally Brooklyn has become obsessed with dress up! She loves ballerina clothes, any pair of shoes and something always has to be on her head. I love my daughter dearly but I really hope that she does not have a passion to be in a ballet someday because as sweet and wonderful she is the one thing she is not is graceful. Here is a little proof!

So this is one of the reason Jon calls Brooklyn "Pants!" (Yes those are pants on her head.)

Here's Brooklyn with Kate and Karina doing arts and crafts with Brooklyn. They made music makers. I know, "What was I thinking!" But they had such a great time. It was so worth it!

On some days this is the best time of the day hands down! But honestly most of the time I perfer her awake.
