I wonder where she got it from!

Brooklyns personality is definitely starting to take off. Here are 2 recent stories and I think you will be able to tell which story reflects which parent.

The other day Brooklyn and I were driving to the store and Brooklyn kept asking me what different items in the car were finally she shows me her Teddy Bear and says "What's this?" I said "Teddy Bear" she turned to me and said "Hood job. Your so smart, Hiv me five!" She is so stinkin cute.

Yesterday we went to the park after church just to play for awhile. I wanted to wear Brooklyn out so she would sleep so I kept throwing the ball, she would go get it and try to bring it back to me before Jon could tackle her. After about 4 "Touchdowns" she looks up at Jon and says, "Horry dad, can't catch me!" The smack talking begins.

It is fun to see each of us reflected in Brooklyn's personality although she is very much her own person. I do think she has more Jon than me. I am happy for that though. I married Jon for many reasons and I love seeing those reasons come through in Brooklyn.
