It's a Beautiful Day

It is time for me to brag just a little bit. Tomorrow is the day. I have been sweets free for 30 days (GO ME!) not counting my birthday. But that does not really count, not having ice cream on your birthday would amount to cruel and unusual punishment and I just didn't need to take it that far. I know I couldn't have done it with out a friend once again Emily made the difference. I really need to apologize to her for the evening phone calls I made to her in the beginning of the 30 days so she could remind me why I was doing this. It is funny now how quick it went by. It was totally worth it. Giving up sweets for 30 days has been such a boost to my confidence. Even if has not done much for my figure (which my husband has very sweetly disagreed with, Good Boy!) I feel fantastic. Since it has been so worth it and I know that I can not only now resist it but actually sometimes not even want it, I have set a new goal of 1 helping of sweets 1 day a week. 1 bowl of ice cream, 1 brownie, or 1 candy bar a week that will be it. I will easily be able to handle that. Emily's new goal is no white flour. I think I will join her on this one too. Thank goodness there is no white flour in ice cream:) One small change at a time and soon I will be the healthiest person you all know.

Nice job!!! It is easier than you think! The first couple days are easy, and then the next few days after that are HARD! But then each day gets easier and easier again. I'm actually in the middle of my "no sugar" diet too! I'm doing it again!!! I'm doing the whole month of February. What better month to do it in right?? I mean....it's the shortest month of the year!!! I set my goals high as you can tell! hahaha

Go Jaimee! That is awesome, I know I couldn't have done it (and frankly, I don't even want to try!). You are smart to take such good care or yourself.
Can't wait to see you guys in a few weeks!
Love ya
Lindsay

Nice work. That's pretty good. The best thing I've handled my food cravings is not eating after 7. That took me like 6 months to control, but now I have absolutely no cravings at night. Your right, one small change at a time and after years it really adds up!

Will Power! Awesome! I love reading the updates about your family and watching your family videos! This is way too cool. It's reminding me of my age, as this is my first experience with reading a "blog". :-) I love you to the sky and back. Remember, "You're the best!" Dawn Maxwell (Like my "new" name?)
