The Many Ways Of Brooklyn!

So we started swim lessons with Brooklyn on Monday. She is such a fish that we knew she would just love it. I really struggled on which class I should put her in and decided that preschool B was the way to go. So Monday came and she was awesome. I was so proud of her. She was amazing but the class was a little to easy for her. Never the less she listened to the instructor and did what she was told. So as a reward got an ice cream sandwich when we got home. Jon and I watched her like all ignorant parents not realizing there children can turn on a dime. So thinking that my daughter is the angel that I still think she is (I don't think anybody really agrees with me at the peoria pool however) I talked to the instructor and told her that I THINK that MY DAUGHTER should advance to the next level. (If I had only known!) She moved up to the next class and what a nightmare. I know she LOVES to swim but she could not control herself. Here is just a short list of her mistakes in the class: Jumping on top of a kid because she did not wait her turn to get into the pool, jumping on top of a kid because because she did not wait her turn to practice her strokes, jumping on top a an unsuspecting instructor because she did not wait her turn to swim with the noodle, and finally jumping on top of the instructors arm and not letting go until Jon came over pried her off. So the instructor nicely asked me if I could put her back in the preschool B class, which we will do tonight! Can you say humbling experience.

That's freakin hilarious!!!! Oh my gosh, I'm laughing so hard right now. My kids hate water with a passion, we have a $12 swimming pool in our backyard and they are barely getting brave enough to sit and get their butts wet! But, that is quite the funny story. Loved it!
