A new addition

So I have been hesitant to blog about the events in our life just because it is so public but I can't help it any longer. As everyone knows we are expecting a baby in January. We have found out he is a boy and have named him Tyler Graham Smith. But not everyone knows that we are also very excited about another hopeful addition to our family. This is Allie and do to me being paranoid I am not going to give much more detail other than she is perfect and we absolutely adore her. The quick story behind it all is something like this. While we have been struggling over the last few years to have another baby an amazing coworker of my husbands has had custody of this beautiful little girl. We were hoping to adopt her many months ago but were told it was impossible. Then thanks to Jon's coworker we were told that it may be a very good possibility that she may be in our home after all. We have had her in our home on and off for sometime now and our house seems empty now when she is not here. I think to myself of my kids names. Brooklyn, Allie, and Tyler and without her in the mix it doesn't quite seem like a family. We are saying prayers daily that she comes to our home to stay. My ending note on this post would have to be a thank you to Jon's coworker and her family. Everytime I think about how much they love Allie and the sacrafice this is for her entire family I can't help but get teary. I am amazed by all of them. Here are a couple of cute pictures of Allie and Brooklyn. Brooklyn adores her. She now gets out of preschool and runs to me and says, "Hi mom, where is Allie!"

By the way with all of this I am going to have to restrict my blog I will let everyone know when I will be doing this. I just need a little more privacy.
