Oh Happy Day!

I got a phone call last night from CPS and what a great phone call it was. I can not express my gratitude and excitement. Allie has an official adoption date. JUNE 16th!!! The judge will sign the final paperwork and her name will officially be Alexis Jane Smith. Although since the day I first held her I knew she was mine it will now be legal. I will have a birth cetificate for her with Jon and my name on it. She will have a social security card with Smith on it just like her mom and dad. Jon will be able to give her her babies blessing, and we will be able to be sealed together in the temple. All these things I have hoped for since the first time she came into our home and now it is a reality. I can not say much more right now without getting emotional and since I have 4 kids to take care of I don'thave time for that. But I have a couple Thank you's to give first to Della, my admiration and gratitude is beyond words. We all love you and your family so much. You are such an example to me and I am grateful everyday that Allie has brought our families together. I have learned so much about life and what is important from you. We look forward to many wonderful times with your family. We love you! Also to my friends and family who have been so thoughtful. There are to many to name but they have been there whenever there was a need. You are all the best. Finally to my Heavenly Father. I have had a prayer in my heart since the day that Allie was brought into our home that this day would come. He has answered prayer after prayer of mine. He has given me peace when I thought it was impossible to be peaceful. I know that my Heavenly Father loves me and is mindful of me. I pray I am the mom to my children that he wants me to be.
I am so happy. I love my Kiddo's and Husband so much. I am so excited for June 16th. It will beat out April 15th and Christmas for sure.(Previous Post)
