One Step Closer

Yesterday was such an unbelievable day. We are one step closer to making Allie a legal part of our family. I had a doctors appointment yesterday and walked into Jons office to pick him up and I got the biggest surprise I could think of. Della had recieved a phone call 2 minutes before I walked in. It was from Allie's case worker. I knew the mediation with Allie's mom was happening yesterday but I didn't even think it was an option that her rights would be severed right then. There was such an emotional scene the second that Della told me. We were both in tears from gratitude. I am amazed at the way things have happened so far with making Allie a part of our family. Everything from the bad to the good, from my miscarraiges that were so emotional to Allie's case workers helping to make it possible and to Della who I can not express enough gratitude for I have been amazed at how my Heavenly Father has orchestrated all of it and how I am so aware of his love for me. We will keep everyone updated as all of this progresses. Hopefully this will all happen so much sooner than I thought.
